We are fortunate here in Brattleboro to have several qualified candidates running for Select Board seats, and that leaves us with choices to make. Given that the major function of the board is to create and monitor the town budget, I will be voting for Oscar Heller for the three-year seat.

As a member of the finance committee for six years, Oscar is well informed as to the town’s needs and resources and is committed to working on long term fiscal planning. He has also paid close attention to the concerns and desires of the local citizens and is thus well positioned to represent us and to take on the fiscal challenges facing us at this time.
