Volunteer, grassroots leaf collection on November 1st, 2025.
As part of a very challenging special spring budget process, the Selectboard cut town leaf pickup, which is a service many of our neighbors rely on. In response, we organized a volunteer, grassroots leaf collection effort for fall 2025.
On November 1st, volunteers with trucks and strong hands spread out across town to collect bagged leaves. Amanda Ellis-Thurber and I moved leaves all day.
